Janell Borrero is a finance professional, entrepreneur, and researcher whose work sits at the intersection of money, behavior, and entrepreneurship.

After years of working with women entrepreneurs, Janell saw the same gap again and again. Many talented business owners needed more than bookkeeping or reports. They needed help understanding what their numbers meant, recognizing what was affecting their financial decisions, and knowing what to do next.

But access to that level of financial guidance often comes at a cost many small business owners simply can't afford. Janell believes a lack of resources to access a CFO shouldn't be what holds a woman back from succeeding in business. That's one of the reasons she created MoneyPOP.
